Amrita is a senior member of the UK P&C team at Guy Carpenter, where she focuses on reinsurance optimisation, reinsurance pricing during renewals, and capital modelling to assess the capital efficiency of various reinsurance programmes. She has worked in the reinsurance industry for more than 13 years and qualified as an Actuary in 2014.
Amrita began her career at GC, after completing her BSc and MSc degrees in Actuarial Science and Actuarial Management respectively Her sports for good started in 2016 when she made it to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Since then she has been a constant presence in variety of extreme sports.
Some of the marathons under Amrita’s belt include London, Athens, and Manchester. Amrita joined the world of triathlons in 2018, and she has participated in Bolton’s, Wales’, Dubai’s, and Sochi’s IRONMAN events. She has also taken part in the world of the ‘Ultras’! In 2022, Amrita was in South Africa for a 90KM ‘Comrades‘ – the world’s oldest and longest ultramarathons – which span from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. Building up to the September IRONMAN race, Amrita will participate in a series of races totalling 343 Kilometres.
